Every year, the Department of Classics awards four-year, full-tuition scholarships to high school graduates who major in Classics (the art and archeological remains, languages, history, and literatures of the ancient Mediterranean, North African, and West Asian worlds) at Holy Cross. This year (2027, for the incoming class of 2031), the Department will be awarding both the Henry Bean, S.J., Scholarship (two awards) and the William Fitzgerald, S.J., Scholarship (one award). Both scholarships are four-year, full-tuition merit scholarships. Students who submit the 2027 Classics Scholarship Application are considered for both scholarships.
