In-Person Offerings

All visitors 5 years of age or older must present evidence of being fully vaccinated and boosted with an approved COVID-19 vaccine or present evidence of a negative COVID-19 test to attend indoor events and some outdoor events as determined by the College’s COVID Core team. Children under 5 are permitted on campus without providing evidence of vaccination or a negative test. All visitors will be asked to comply with our mask policy while indoors and outdoors, which is subject to change. View the complete Holy Cross Mask Policy.

Campus Tours

We are pleased to offer in-person campus tours for prospective students and their guests. To prioritize the health and safety of our campus community and visitors, tours will consist of a maximum of thirty people and one tour guide. Much of the tour will be conducted outdoors, with entrance into a select number of campus buildings.

Summer tours will be offered Monday through Friday starting on Thursday, June 2 until Friday July 1. The College will be closed for the week of July 4 and on Fridays in the summer starting the week of July 11. Tours will then resume Monday through Thursday starting Monday July 11 until Thursday, August 18. 

Fall tours are available Monday through Friday starting Monday, September 5 until Friday, December 9, excluding October 10-14 (Fall Break) and November 23-25 (Thanksgiving Break).

It is required you provide the names and contact information for everyone who will be attending the tour.

If you are a school counselor, independent counselor, or agency/CBO counselor who is hoping to sign up for a campus tour, please reach out to us at admissions@holycross.edu to schedule your visit.

On-Campus Information Session*

On-Campus Information Sessions consist of a maximum of 60 people and one admission counselor. Admission Counselors will give a 30-minute presentation, focusing on the application process and any other topics not covered during the campus tour.

Summer On-Campus Information sessions will be offered Monday through Friday starting on Thursday, June 2 until Friday July 1. The College will be closed for the week of July 4 and on Fridays in the summer starting the week of July 11. Information Sessions will then resume Monday through Thursday starting Monday July 11 until Friday, August 18. 

Fall On-Campus Information Sessions will be offered on Monday, September 5 (Labor Day) and Friday, November 11 (Veterans Day) at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. 

*Families can sign up for an on-campus information session using the Campus Visit event on the scheduling calendar. 
 

July Advisory Days**

Applying to college can be overwhelming, and maybe a bit confusing. During July Advisory Days, we give rising high school seniors a little extra help in navigating the college admissions process during a comprehensive program which consist of the following: 

1:30 p.m. - Holy Cross Information Session
2:00 p.m. - Campus Tour
3:00 p.m. - Essay Writing and Interviewing Skills Seminar

July Advisory Days will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday in July starting on Tuesday, July 12.

**The July Advisory Day event includes the information session, tour, and essay writing/interviewing skills workshop. Families do not need to sign up for separate information sessions and tours.

Virtual Information Sessions

Admission Counselors will give 30- 45 minute presentations, highlighting key aspects of the College and focusing on the application process. Sessions will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. EST until Wednesday, August 31, excluding July 4 & July 6 (Independence Day Break).

Interviews

Interviews are available for First-Year Students applying for Fall 2023. Interviews are only available for rising and current seniors and students may only interview once. Interviews are a strongly recommended aspect of the admission process and can be done before or after an application is submitted. 

Students can schedule a virtual interview appointment using the interview scheduling calendar. Students can schedule an in-person interview by calling the Admission Office at 508-793-2443.
